Music Legend David Bowie Dies At 69

Singer-songwriter and actor,David Bowie died yesterday.Jan 10 . The rockstar  gave up the ghost after a one-and-a-half year battle with cancer.The sad  news was announced on Bowie’s official Facebook page,

“David Bowie died peacefully today surrounded by his family after a courageous 18 month battle with cancer,” said the post.

“While many of you will share in this loss, we ask that you respect the family’s privacy during their time of grief.”

David had just celebrated his 69th birthday on the 8th of January this year which was the same day that he released his 25th studio album, Blackstar. He is survived by second wife and former supermodel Iman,  and by children Duncan and Alexandria Jones. May his soul rest in peace.
