Country music legend Naomi Judd dead at 76
Country music has lost a legend,Naomi Judd. The singer died on Saturday, she was 76. Her daughter, actress Ashley Judd shared the sad news on Twitter;
“Today we sisters experienced a tragedy. We lost our beautiful mother to the disease of mental illness. We are shattered,”
Naomi Judd -one half of the duo The Judds sold more than 20 million records with hits like “Mama He’s Crazy” and “Love Can Build a Bridge,”. The Judds won five Grammys and had 14 No. 1 singles.
The duo was scheduled to be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame on Sunday.
Country singer-songwriter, Carrie Underwood shared her condolences on Twitter;
“Country music lost a true legend…sing with the angels, Naomi!!! We’re all sending up prayers for the Judd family today,”
