Nigerian Singer-songwriter, Tems win first GrammyCongratulations are in order for our very own, Temilade Openiyi aka Tems first Grammy win. Making it not just her first Grammy but the first Nigerian (non-mixed) female Grammy winner.

Tems won Best Melodic Rap performance for her collaboration with Future and Drake for the song ” Wait For U”

According to the singer, “it is just the beginning” and I totally agree. She is also up for an Oscar nomination for her co-writing credits for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever song “Lift me Up” perfomed by Rihanna.

And if she wins that, she might just be on her way to being an EGOT.

Aww, I am so proud of her. I knew she would take at least a Grammy home. Congratulations Tems, keep making us proud.
