Hollywood Legend Robin Williams Hanged “with a belt’ Himself To Death

Robin McLaurin Williams,63 was an American actor, stand-up comedian, film producer, and screenwriter.

Rising to fame with his role as the alien Mork in the TV series Mork & Mindy but in Nigeria (well, for me) known for the movie ‘Mrs doubtfire’ and ‘Popeye: the sailor man’ was found dead in his home in Tiburon, Calif.

According to the Marin County Deputy Coroner, Robins Williams was at home alone Monday when he tried slashing his left wrist, but it only left “acute superficial cuts. He then took a belt, tied it around his neck and secured it between the closet door and door frame. Williams was in a seated position, slightly suspended with his right shoulder against the door. ” TMZ reports. He didn’t leave a suicide note…

Williams lived in the home on the Tiburon peninsula with his wife, graphic designer Susan Schneider, who last saw him at bedtime; he was found the next morning by a personal assistant; reports say. Williams had wed Schneider, his third wife, in the nearby Napa Valley on October 23, 2011. ”I lost my husband and my best friend, while the world lost one of its most beloved artists and beautiful human beings,” Schneider said in a statement released by his publicist. “I am utterly heartbroken.”
