Hollywood actor,George Maharis dead at 94 

Actor,George Maharis known for his role in the 1960s television series “Route 66,” has died. He was 94. 

In a Facebook post,Maharis friend and caretaker shared the sad news that the the actor dies in his Beverly Hills,California home on Wednesday. 

Maharis left “Route 66″ after three seasons and appeared in TV movies ;”Escape to Mindanao” and “Murder on Flight 502,” “Disaster in the Sky,” “Crash of Flight 401,” “Death in Space” and on TV series including “Fantasy Island,” “The Bionic Woman” and “Murder, She Wrote.”
