Chris Rock will finally get his revenge on the Oscar Will Smith Slap the only way he knows how -on his Netflix Special!

On March 4, the renowned comedian is scheduled to do a live stand-up special for Netflix in which, according to Netflix, he will address Will Smith slapping him at the Oscars.

Rock has made passing references to the incident in his stand-up routines throughout the past year, but this will be the first time he goes into more detail.

The Wall Street Journal broke the news first.

Rock and Dave Chappelle performed in an arena in Charleston in January, and during that performance, Rock worked on the material for the special. He addressed the now-famous incident with Smith around a third of the way through his act while dressed entirely in white, according to a source in attendance who spoke with CNN.

Rock cracked many jokes when discussing the general fury following the Oscars event.

“The thing people wanna know … did it hurt? Hell yeah it hurt. He played Muhammad Ali! I played Pookie (in ‘New Jack City’). Even in animated movies I’m a zebra, he’s a f—ing shark. I got hit so hard, I heard ‘Summertime’ ringing in my ears,” Rock joked, according the source.

Rock mentioned the two men’s different sizes in a subsequent phrase.

“Will Smith is a big dude. I am not,” Rock said. “Will Smith is shirtless in his movies. If you see me in a movie getting open heart surgery, I’m gonna have a sweater on.”

At 10:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, “Chris Rock: Selective Outrage” will begin streaming live on Netflix from Baltimore’s Hippodrome Theater, exactly one week before the 91st Academy Awards.
