Cecily Strong has left “Saturday Night Live” after 11 seasons.

Strong was a two-time nominee for an Emmy for her work on the show and was well-known for her portrayals of characters like the Girl You Wish You Hadn’t Started a Conversation With at a Party and impressions of celebrities like Judge Jeanine Pirro of Fox News and U.S. Representative Marjorie Taylor Green.

She gave a personal remark during Saturday’s episode of Weekend Update while playing Michael Che’s drug-addicted neighbor Cathy Anne.

“I had a lot of fun here,” she said. “And I feel really lucky that I have had so many of the best moments of my life in this place, and with these people that I love so much.”

This resignation from “Saturday Night Live” is the latest in a line of well-known actors who have left the show this year, including Pete Davidson, Chris Redd, Kate McKinnon, Kyle Mooney, and Aidy Bryant. Strong debuted on the program in the 38th season, in 2012, and has since gone on to appear in films like the 2016 “Ghostbusters” and television programs like “Schmigadoon!” on Apple TV+.
