Cara Delevigne & Pharrel WIlliams Like You’ve Never Seen Them Before In A Short Film ‘Reincarnation’ Teaser For Chanel

This has got to be the best and unexpected collaboration in fashion and music…In a brand new Chanel short film entitled Reincarnation, directed by the Chanel’s creative director Karl Lagerfeld,the grammy award winner and controversial model look like royalty in the video clip which will be shown in full on Wednesday December 2 at the Paris-Salzburg 2014/15 Métiers d’art collection in Salzburg, Austria.
The video tells the tale of the house’s founder Gabrielle Chanel, and her inspiration for the jacket synonymous with the brand, as envisioned by Lagerfeld.
Played by Geraldine Chaplin (who appeared as the iconic fashion stalwart in Lagerfeld’s previous short film The Return), the story line follows Chanel going on holiday to Austria in 1954, where she spots the hotel elevator hand – played by Pharrell – which is soon revealed as her inspiration for the jacket.
The 41-year-old is then seen portraying Franz Joseph I, the Emperor of Austria, in a dream sequence imagined by Chanel, dancing an imperial waltz with his wife, the beloved Empress Elisabeth ‘Sisi’ of Austria – portrayed by Cara.
