24 and Runaways actress,Annie Wersching dead at 45

Annie WerschingAnnie Wersching who played Leslie Dean in Marvel’s Runaways and Renee Walker in 24 has died. She was 45 years old.

Wershing who was diagnosed with cancer in 2020, died on Sunday in Los Angeles. Her husband Stephen Full said in a statement via THR;
“There is a cavernous hole in the soul of this family today. But she left us the tools to fill it,”. “She found wonder in the simplest moment. She didn’t require music to dance. She taught us not to wait for adventure to find you. ‘Go find it. It’s everywhere.’ And find it we shall.

“As I drove our boys, the true loves of her life, down the winding driveway and street, she would yell BYE! until we were out of earshot and into the world,” he continued. “I can still hear it ringing. Bye my Buddie. ‘I love you little family…’”

Annie was also known for her role as Tess in the 2013 video game, The Last of Us. And her longest-running role was as Amelia Joffe on General Hospital, where she appeared in 80 episodes.

I loved her role in the Runaways, such a beauty. May her soul rest in peace.

Love to hear from you
