Formerly known as puffdaddy,then P.diddy and now Diddy (although reconsidering Puffdaddy), whose real name is Sean Combs, was awarded an honorary doctorate on Saturday from Howard University in Washington D.C. – a school he attended for two years before dropping out to pursue music. So proud of his recent achievement,he took to instagram and twitter to share some pictures from the ceremony, He gave a speech as well;
‘I am a unicorn,’ he exclaimed according to InTheCapital.com. ‘You are a unicorn. We are unicorns.’ ‘I am Humbled & Honored!!!’ He tweeted.
According to Billboard, he told the crowd: ‘Howard University didn’t just change my life – it entered my soul, my heart, my being and my spirit.’ “Nobody is going to invite you to the front of the line, you got to push your way to the front of the line.”
Diddy has been named hip-hop’s wealthiest man by Forbes magazine with a worth of $700m.
