The Queen rejects “Oldie of the year” award

The Queen rejected The “Oldie of the Year” award and according to her assistant private secretary Tom Laing-Baker, HRM said ‘you are as old as you feel’.

The award is run by chairman Gyles Brandreth for The Oldie magazine .

The letter published in the November issue of the Oldie magazine writes; “Her Majesty believes you are as old as you feel, as such The Queen does not believe she meets the relevant criteria to be able to accept, and hopes you will find a more worthy recipient.”

And i agree, i think Queen Elizabeth is pretty badass- she still drives like G at 95.

“Long live The Queen! Perhaps in the future we will sound out Her Majesty once more,” Brandreth wrote on the magazine’s website.
