The Crown London premiere: Elizabeth Debicki as Princess Diana

At the London premiere of The Crown, Elizabeth Debicki wore an outfit reminiscent of Princess Diana’s Cannes appearance in 1987.

On the red carpet last night for the debut of the fifth season of the well-known Netflix series, which tells the narrative of the royal family, the actress made reference to one of the royal’s most iconic outfits.

She accessorized it with Manolo Blahnik heels and diamond Dior jewellery. 

Debicki’s red carpet attire closely resembled Diana’s blue Catherine Walker dress at the Cannes Film Festival in 1987

The Crown’s upcoming season will include Elizabeth Debicki as Princess Diana.
