Russell Wilson injured at the Broncos -Chiefs game

Russel WilsonRussell Wilson, Denver Broncos quarterback suffered a concussion during the fourth quarter and was later declared to be out for the remainder of the game. On a running play in the end zone, Wilson took a hit and seemed to be rendered unconscious.

With the assistance of the Broncos’ medical staff, Wilson cautiously left the field but he never came back.

Wilson will enroll in the NFL’s concussion protocol, but it is unclear at this time whether he will miss more than Week 14.

He was replaced by the offense’s backup quarterback, Brett Rypien. Rypien was able to score a touchdown to cap off the drive.

The Broncos went on to lose the game 34-28. Although it was predicted that the Broncos would lose badly, they were able to compete with the Chiefs for the final two or more quarters. They were unable to keep up with Kansas City despite Wilson tossing three touchdown passes and Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes throwing three interceptions.

Hope he feels better.

Love to hear from you
