Rihanna’s “Lift me up” Debuts at No. 2 on Hot 100

Rihanna

Rihanna’s brand-new solo track  “Lift Me Up,” from the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack was composed in part as a memorial to the late franchise star Chadwick Boseman.

It is the first new music from the Billionaire superstar since the ANTI era in 2016.

The song debuted this week at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, behind “Anti-Hero” by Taylor Swift (the lead single from her juggernaut Midnights album). It also had Rihanna’s best-ever radio debut, debuting at No. 6 on the Billboard Radio Songs chart.

Not bad for a comeback and a ballad.
