Kelly Clarkson has a new album and Las Vegas Residency
Singer-turned-talk show host, Kelly Clarkson announced her Las Vegas residency in a statement. This comes right after she announced her album ‘Chemistry’ on Sunday. She wrote;
“I am so excited for these shows and couldn’t think of a better place to get back on stage than Las Vegas!” Clarkson said in a statement. “The crowds in Vegas are such an amazing collection of people that simply want to have a great time and that’s what we’re going to do!”
“So many of my musical idols have had, and still have, incredible residencies on The Strip, and I’m so excited to create my own!”
On Instagram, Clarkson wrote, “It’s happening, y’all! 🎶 I’m so excited to announce that I’m finally heading to Las Vegas for 10 shows this summer! I’ll be singing all of your favorites… and yes, I’ll be singing some new ones, too!”
“chemistry…an intimate night with Kelly Clarkson” has 10 scheduled shows, including July 28 and 29, as well as Aug. 2, 4, 5, 9, 11, 12, 18 and 19.
Wow, she is going to be one busy artist this summer. Clarkson was supposed to do a Vegas residency called “Invincible” in 2020, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was postponed indefinitely.
So excited to see her back in her element and I can’t wait to listen to the album.
NB: Kelly Clarkson’s album was the first album I bought by a solo artist back in the 00s. I hope this new album is more rock than soul.
Congratulations on your Residency Ms. Clarkson!
