‘I completely let myself go when I was pregnant,- Naya Rivera

Her inspiration: The first-time author - Sorry Not Sorry: Dreams, Mistakes, and Growing Up, in stores this September - said that motherhood made her reflect on her relationship with her own mom, gushing: 'If I’m a fraction of the mother my mom is, I’ll be happy' 

Naya Rivera looked every inch the glowing mum on the cover of Fit pregnancy and Baby. The Glee star talked about letting herself go during her pregnancy and wouldn’t have gotten back to shape without the help of her trainer. She said;

 ‘Muscle memory luckily kicked in,”weight wasn’t something I wanted to focus on.’
‘I completely let myself go when I was pregnant,’ she gushed, noting that she ‘ate anything and everything and had a blast.’
‘afterward, I was, like, ‘Let’s get back to business,”
‘My closet was divided in half: On one side were maternity clothes and on the other side were clothes I thought I would never wear again,’
‘But I’m not really self-motivated. And I don’t know what to do at the gym. I always feel lost,’ she explained, ‘[Without a trainer] I’d probably just end up not working out, and then go to the steam room.’

Feeling a little lost: The Glee alum also dished that she's 'not really self-motivated' so she found the trainer helpful so she didn't just spend her days at the gym in the steam roomGetting back to business: Naya Rivera shared how she lost 60lbs of baby weight after welcoming son Josey during her cover story for May's issue of Fit Pregnancy and BabyLucky: In order to drop the last 30lbs, Naya shared that she hired a personal trainer, noting she knew she was 'lucky' as 'not all moms can afford one'
