Elon Musk Booed off Dave Chappelle’s stage

Elon Musk and Dave Chappelle

Elon Musk joined Dave Chappelle on stage on Sunday in San Francisco, the home of Twitter’s headquarters, where the controversial billionaire just let many of its employees go.

After spending a substantial chunk of the weekend participating in the culture wars, making transphobic statements, and ostensibly reciting QAnon clichés, the Chase Center crowd booed Elon Musk vigorously.

People in the audience recorded video of the event at Sunday’s Chappelle performance, which shows Musk entering the stage and saying in Chappelle’s trademark Rick James voice, “I’m rich, b***h.”

Musk was then booed repeatedly for a while.Chappelle, who has also faced criticism for making jokes about transgender individuals, was inspired by the response to inform Musk that it “sounds like some of those people you fired are in the audience.”

Musk started to talk at one point, but Chappelle cut him off by stating, “Don’t say nothing. You hear that sound, Elon? That’s the sound of pending civil unrest.”
“Booing is not the best thing you can do,” he said. “I wish everybody in this auditorium the joy of feeling free and may your pursuit of happiness set you free. Amen.”

Monday, in response to a fan tweeting to him about “a crowd full of boos.” Musk appeared to nod in recognition of the occurrence. It was “90% cheers & 10% boos (except during quiet periods),” according to Musk, but even so, “that’s a lot of boos, which is a first for me in real life (frequent on Twitter).” Chappelle completed his performance with a rebuke and a prayer after receiving more jeers.

Lol, I wasn’t even there and I find it funny and entertaining.

Love to hear from you
