The ‘New Girl’ star is known for her quirky-sixties style and its no surprise the actress, 34, has teamed up with Tommy Hilfiger for the spring line called To Tommy, From Zooey, which will feature 16 ‘Sixties-inspired short dresses’ with ‘interesting detail and flirty fabrics,’ Mr Hilfiger told WWD.

Priced from $98 to $199, the looks – like a swingy polka dot shirtdress and a red pleated ensemble – are ‘very Jean Shrimpton and Twiggy,’ said the designer. ‘Really from the Sixties in London.’
One of the looks, which Miss Deschanel wears in a campaign for the line, is a sporty black short-sleeved dress with a pink and white V-neck and hot pink waistband. I personally think they are a match made in fashion, the vintage style is much classier than what we have this days. Don’t get wrong i love some new school designs but when i where a gown i want to feel comfortable, classy, historic and feel like a lady not a hooker.
The collection will hit Macy’s stores and online in April. See amazing photos of the designs after the cut…

The actress said that the partnership with Mr Hilfiger is ideal, since they see eye to eye when it comes to style.
‘I am a fashion fanatic, and I am always looking for new ways to incorporate vintage, feminine pieces into my own wardrobe,’ she said.
‘Tommy and I share many of the same inspirations – old-school music, classic films and old Hollywood icons.’

And the designer said Miss Deschanel perfectly embodies the ‘Tommy Girl’ with her all-American beauty and down-to-earth personality.
‘She reminds me of Audrey Hepburn for her sense of humor,’ he said, adding: ‘At the same time, she has a Jackie O type of chicness to her.’
The actress and Mr Hilfiger, 62, apparently met a few years ago at a mutual friend’s house, where they discovered their shared love of vintage fashion.
