Novak Djokovic

Tennis star, Novak Djokovic’s Australian Visa has been cancelled for the second time due to his rights to being unvaccinated.

Immigration Minister Alex Hawke made the decision in this statement;

“Today I exercised my power… to cancel the visa held by Mr Novak Djokovic on health and good order grounds, on the basis that it was in the public interest to do so,”

The first time  Novak’s visa was cancelled was on the 6th of January 2022,he was detained and spent hours at immigration control at the airport.

Days later his visa was reinstated by a judge, who ordered his release, ruling that border officials ignored correct procedure when he arrived.
