In a recent Instagram post, Justin Timberlake wrote an apology to Britney Spears and Janet Jackson, saying he failed them in the past.
“I specifically want to apologize to Britney Spears and Janet Jackson both individually, because I care for and respect these women and I know I failed,”
This comes following the release of Britney’s documentary “Framing Britney Spears “.
Justin and Britney dated for four years 1999-2002 and he released a song “Cry me a river” about Britney cheating on him.
He also dated Janet Jackson and they performed at the 2004 Super Bowl where she had a wardrobe malfunction “Nip slip” and Justin made it look like it was planned. This led to Janet’s career going down.
Following the scandal, her videos and songs were blacklisted from all Viacom owned stations including MTV, VH1 and all the radio stations under their umbrella.
