5 simple tips on how to be happy
When you ask anyone what they want,most of them say we want to be happy. Yes, a lot of us say “money” but sure we have established the fact that “money” is not everything. So, I wonder:how can we be happy and came up with a few things;

Express Gratitude /be grateful
With a lot going on in our world ,people showing off their wealth /achievement on social media, it kind of lead most people to a state of depression that they forget what they do have. Most times, people on social media just show us what we want to see; a new deal, graduating from a top university, getting married, acquiring a new car or home but they don’t share how they got there and what they went through. So before you think “oh this person just woke up one morning and started making money, then you are probably in a fantasy land. Therefore, don’t conclude, just keep working on yourself and appreciate what you have, when you do, more would come – that’s the law of the universe.

Be content
Just like being grateful, you have to be content with what you have and take pride in the fact that you did it yourself. Yes, you are doing a job you hate or the pay is crap, there are people that don’t even have a job and are looking for one that pays half of what you are earning. Life could be unfair sometimes, but you have to make it awesome for yourself by not letting it get in your way.

Lower your expectations
It took me a while to realise that I don’t need anyone to make me happy. This have ended relationships cause one party was expecting a lot from the other ,some people go into relationships cause of they are hoping to get something from the other person and when that person doesn’t meet up, it leads to disappointment and gradual resentment.

Do what makes you happy
You are probably like, “what if I don’t know what makes me happy “.How about a hobby? What you think of that just take you back to simpler times or when you were a kid. Was it listening to music, composing a song, art, travelling, writing, learning something new …anything…

Exercise
Yeah sweat! Exercise just releases some good hormones that gives you this ‘feel good’ feeling. Exercise helps my mood, though I don’t exercise as often as I should, each time I do I feel so happy and feel like I can do anything. I know some of us (especially the nine to five guys) don’t have the time but you just have to try, even if it’s for twenty minutes everyday… Just make sure you SWEAT!
And ladies, did mention it helps with clear skin ,regular digestive system??? When you look good, you feel good.

Sleep
Last but not least, get quality sleep. Some people (me included) get cranky when they don’t sleep well or get interrupted while asleep. So sleeping better – doctors recommend eight hours of sleep, helps you get through the day. And as they say, early to bed, early to rise. Try sleeping on the time, put all cell phones, laptops or TV away, eat three hours before bed. And if you are not used to sleeping on time, read a book or anything that you know would make you dizzy.So that’s about it…
