As social media users were quick to remind the world that he was accused of rape in 2003. The former Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard was accused of rape in 2003 by a lady who was 19 at the time ,Kobe admitted to having sexual encounter with her but insisted it was consensual.
According to Dailymail;
Documents reported to be related to the case were published by The Smoking Gun. Those documents include what is held out to be a 32-page transcript of the woman’s account of what happened that night, and what the website called a 57-page transcript of Bryant’s interview with Eagle County investigators.
The incident that gave rise to the criminal charge, and later the civil lawsuit and its settlement, occurred on June 30, 2003 at the Lodge and Spa at Cordillera, in Edwards, Colorado.
The woman worked at the front desk at the mountain resort, where Bryant admitted to having sex with the woman, who was then 19.
Bryant, who was married with a daughter at the time, claimed the sexual encounter was consensual.
