Selena Gomez' Best Friend,Francia Raisa Show Off Scar After Kidney Transplant

Talk about a heart of gold! Selena’s Bff and ‘The secret life of an American teenager’ actress,Francia Raisa donated a kidney to the ‘it ain’t me’ singer some months ago. Ms Gomez made the announcement on her instagram (photo below) on Sept 14. explaining why she has been laying low She wrote;

“I’m very aware some of my fans had noticed I was laying low for part of the summer and questioning why I wasn’t promoting my new music, which I was extremely proud of. So I found out I needed to get a kidney transplant due to my Lupus and was recovering. It was what I needed to do for my overall health. I honestly look forward to sharing with you, soon my journey through these past several months as I have always wanted to do with you. Until then I want to publicly thank my family and incredible team of doctors for everything they have done for me prior to and post-surgery. And finally, there aren’t words to describe how I can possibly thank my beautiful friend Francia Raisa. She gave me the ultimate gift and sacrifice by donating her kidney to me. I am incredibly blessed. I love you so much sis. Lupus continues to be very misunderstood but progress is being made. From the surgery

 Though the ‘kill them with kindness’ singer is doing fine and is even back to work on her new movie ,Francia is also back in the gym where she shared a photo of her scar from the surgery. The star’s family members were not a genetic match for a kidney, but luckily Raisa, 29 — who first met Gomez at a charity event when they were teens — proved to be. Francia did a very selfless thing and that is what i call love,the fact that she is also an actress and didn’t consider physical and future medical complications ,its just so admirable.What a great friend! I wonder if we have such in our country (the fakenes is so real..the irony!). God Bless you,Francia Raisa!

Love to hear from you
