A 13-year-old boy, Peyton West, from Ohio in the US, born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome and had a life-saving transplant in March died as he arrived on his first day of school on Thursday. Peyton’s father, Corey told Fox29;”He went to bed, no problems. He woke up, no problems – being his goofy self,”

Peyton was fine after the transplant and showed no sign of rejecting the heart, but collapsed after he got out of his brother’s car at Goshen Middle School.  So sad,May his soul rest in peace/

Hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS) is a rare congenital heart defect in which the left heart is severely underdeveloped. It is a also birth defects that causes the left side of the heart not to form and limits blood circulation around the body.
