In a recent interview on Sunday with Mashable in New York,the ‘Dark Horse’ singer,katy Perry who is currently promoting her makeup line collabortaion with cover Girl cosmetics (which include shades of pink and black; one she applied at the 2016 Met Gala). She also discussed body image and her plans to lay off social media for a while to make some good music. she said;

“There have been decades of bad messaging and we are rewiring now,” she “Long gone are the days where you are not socially aware. You can’t unsee all that crazy shit and not try to do something to change it.”
“I think owning the terms is on an individual basis. It’s about what you want to call yourself. We don’t see ourselves in the same way. I know for me, I’m curvy, I’m not sample size, but I represent a lot of people out there. I want to be relatable.
