The 61st Grammy Awards took place on Monday 11th February 2019 held at Staples Center in Los Angeles with 15-time award winner,Alicia Keys as host. Kacey Musgraves and Childish Gambino took home most of the award for the night,Drake received for God's Plan (i love that song),Lady Gaga for "shallow" and "Joanne",The Carters for "Everything is Love",Tori Kelly (brilliant singer) got some gongs too,Ariana Grande,Ella Mai for her hot song "Boo'ed up". Alicia Keys to host 2019 Grammy Awards

15th time Grammy Award winner,Alicia Keys will host this year's Grammy Awards. The R&B singer revealed she will be hosting the 2019 Grammys in a nine minute YouTube video. She said;
"There's so much in store and I CAN'T WAIT for y'all to see it ALL come to life Tune in on February 10th at 5PM PST / 8PM EST. Only on CBS! (sic)"

Grammy Awards executive producer Ken Ehrlic said; "Alicia is one of those rare artists who meld true musical genius with heartfelt emotional lyrics to create a unique approach to everything she does. We have no doubt that she'll bring all of that as she guides millions of Grammy viewers through what we believe will be a very special show in February."

While Neil Portnow, president and CEO of the Recording Academy, added:"A dynamic artist with the rare combination of groundbreaking talent and passion for her craft, Alicia Keys is the perfect choice as host for our show. Throughout her exciting career, I have watched her become a powerful force within the music industry and beyond. As an artist who speaks to the power of music, we are thrilled to have her on board for what's sure to be an unforgettable Grammy Awards."

Is Ms Keys a wise choice? Hmm,giving her numerous awards (15 gongs) with the most popular music show in the world,i think she'll do a good job. The 61st annual award will take place in Los Angeles on 10 FebruaryCongrats to her.

Comedian,Russell Brand and wife , Laura Gallacher were spotted at the  British Curry Awards at Battersea Evolution in London on Monday.

The funny man who was formerly married to Katy Perry  wore black leather pants,matching jacket in suede heels and the mother-of-two wore a glittering jumpsuit and blazer.

The Kardashian/Jenner clan;Khloe,Kendall,Kim,Kourtney and Kris looked stylish at the 2018 People’s Choice Awards on Sunday evening where they took home Best Reality TV show and Khloe as Best Reality TV star ( i voted for her by the way).

Loved Kourtney's style here,Khloe looked cute in this thigh-high slit dress,not feeling Kendall's and Kris' is appropriate. Kim still promoting her body fragrance showed off her tiny waist in this fully sheer zebra-striped vintage Jean Paul Gaultier dress. See below;
