Soul Singer, Aretha Franklin died at 9:50 a.m at her home in Detroit following her battle with pancreatic cancer of the neuroendocrine type.She was 76 years old…May her soul rest in peace.

On the other hand,in a tribute to the late Queen of soul,Fox News made a blunder in a video which showed Patti Labelle’s image ( from her 2014 performance of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” for President Barack Obama) above the text “1942-2018” instead of RESPECT singer and fans online come for them. Fox apologized ,explaining what really happened;“We sincerely apologize to Aretha Franklin’s family and friends,” the network said in a statement. “Our intention was to honor the icon using a secondary image of her performing with Patti LaBelle in the full screen graphic, but the image of Ms. Franklin was obscured in that process, which we deeply regret.

Patti Labelle did not comment on it but paid tribute to the star;
