Jordan Peele,First Black man to win best screenplay at the 2018 Oscars

Fantastic news as writer,Jordan Peele took home award for Best Original Screenplay at the 90th Academy Awards on Sunday which made him the first black to win that category.  The 39-year-old (wow, looks older) beat out The Big Sick, Lady Bird, The Shape of Water, and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri with his horror film 'Get out'. Surprised at his win he took to twitter and wrote;

Disbelief: Clearly still shocked from his win, Jordan tweeted afterwards, 'I just won an Oscar. WTF?!?'

Jordan said in his acceptance speech that he didn't believe writing the movie was possible. He also thanked his crew, mother and wife;
'This means so much to me,' he said. 'I stopped writing this movie about 20 times because I thought it was impossible.
'I thought it wasn’t gonna work, I thought no one would ever make this movie, but I kept coming back to it because I knew if someone let me make this movie, then people would hear it and people would see it.'
He said: 'To the cast and crew, I love you, thank you so much. My wife, who supported me through this whole process. My mother, who taught me to love even in the face of hate.
'And to everybody who went and saw this movie. Everybody who bought a ticket, told somebody to buy a ticket, thank you. I love you for shouting out at the theatre, for shouting out at the screen. I love all, thank you so much goodnight.'
Clearly still shocked from his win, Jordan tweeted afterwards, 'I just won an Oscar. WTF?!?'

Anything is possible y'all... You just have to believe,keep working hard and don't give up. Once again, congratulations Peele!
